Brina, I literally ripped through this! I really needed to read it today. The love letter idea resonated as I’ve never done that before but it’s so easy to focus on the negatives! Will share far and wide 🧡

Lisa, I'm SO happy to hear this resonated with you and came at just the right time ❤️ It really is too easy to spiral into the negatives. I greatly appreciate you sharing!

Hello, fellow Fresnan! My therapist pointed out a few weeks ago that I need to practice self-compassion. You have given me concrete ways to do so. Thanks!

Well, hello! I actually grew up closer to Modesto but we'd pop into Fresno all the time. Cool to meet someone else from the Central Valley! I'm so glad this found you and hope you find the tips useful, Gina-Marie :)

Loved the concept of a "ta-da" list. Didn't know about it!

On the other hand, I believe looking pictures of a younger self it's a really goodl way to connect with you inner child. Definitely powerful!

Thanks for sharing

I love the ta-da list idea! While I've known and practiced the other 3 on your list, this one is very cool too. We do need to cut ourselves some (more) slack and celebrate ourselves more. Even the small achievements, perhaps especially those, not just the big ones!

Thank you very much for linking to my piece too! 💜

Glad to hear, Monica! Yes, it's not normalized enough to celebrate our own selves, but it's so, so important. And absolutely, it was a wonderful piece ❤️
